The Astric Dry-Bed bedwetting alarm consists of a small, well-designed and sensitive control unit and comfortable detector pad, which is placed over the mattress.
When your child wets the bed and the first drops of wee touch the pad, the alarm will sound.
After being woken up over several nights, your child will either wake up before they do a wee or will learn to sleep through the night without wetting the bed.

The pad should be placed under a draw sheet or towel and can be easily cleaned with soap and water.
Bed mat alarms are very sensitive and can require ongoing adjustments to the sheet that is placed on top of the mat if the temperature and humidity change. Sweaty skin can trigger the alarm. The use of synthetic fabrics can generate static electricity, which may cause the alarm to sound when dry. We recommend that natural fibres such as cotton should be used for all bedding.

The alarm box requires 2 AAA batteries (not supplied).
The Astric bed pad sensor is guaranteed for 3 months. Replacement detector pads are available separately for continued use.
