Dry-Me alarm

Where do I start with this amazing gadget. My son has never been dry at night in 6 years, despite being toilet trained during the day for over 3 years. This alarm worked in 2 weeks! He now wakes up for the toilet (which he has never done) or can hold it until the morning (also has never done.) I was honestly so sceptical about these alarms thinking this will never work for us, he probably will need medication but I am blown away.

We used to clip the attachments to my son’s underwear and use a pull up on top to avoid changing sheets. This worked really well and the first couple of nights we quickly changed underwear and the pull up. By the fourth night it had already stopped going off in the night. We waited the full two weeks just to double check.

We used a baby monitor to know when the alarm was going off and would then run in to my son’s room. He was never upset with the noise. He actually was quite excited to wear it. We made it into a fun game with points for the alarm going off once etc and more points for not at all.

If you are in doubt, give this machine a go! It’s been life changing.

This serves a purpose. It went off once in the night and our 7 year old has been dry ever since. Would recommend.

We were a little skeptical as had tried another alarm and it didn’t work for us.

Anyway, after 4 nights of using the Dry-Me alarm our 9 year old was going through the night without needing to pee or having an accident! We are now 3 weeks in and it’s been a huge success. He’s even been away on a footy camp for 2 nights (without parents) and absolutely no issues at all. Would highly highly recommend.

This product was bought to help our nine y/o, who hadn't had a dry night in years. With the prospect of school trips and sleepovers at friends' houses looming, we made a decision to encourage him to not rely on pull-ups. We had a look through the various alarms and settled on this one as it can be clipped to clothing relatively easily. What can I say? The first week was a little hit and miss, but he's now on a ten-night dry streak (three of which have been achieved without the alarm now). This alarm does come with a vibrate-only setting too, which was useful for not terrifying the whole household in the middle of the night. Overall, this alarm may seem slightly on the pricier side, but it gets results. It's discreet (both in size and sound) but is effective at waking the user at the first detection of any leakage. We tested it with a damp cloth before trying it the first night and it went off immediately. If you are concerned about your child having accidents during the night, this alarm will be one of the best investments you can make, based on our experience.

We had put off getting a bed wetting alarm as we had heard that it is "the last resort" and "wakes up the whole house". How wrong we were.
My son was 10 when we first tried the alarm, having expected that he would just grow out of bed wetting. Desmopressen didn't seem to make much difference.
On the first night he was up twice but over the next week there were only a few nights he work and even then only once. By the end of the 2nd week he was much more consistently dry. We got a run of 12 nights dry and then one night wet, so started the clock again and got to 14 nights dry. All this is in less than 6 weeks. He even woke himself to use the toilet a couple of times - this had never happened before.
The entire house did not wake up and it was nowhere near as bad an experience as I had expected it to be.
We really wish we had tried it sooner as it has worked very successfully and very quickly.
This alarm was easy to use although took a bit of getting used to, especially where to position the alarm itself for sleeping.
We would recommend this alarm though, thankfully, we did not have to try any others to get over the bedwetting.
