Dry-Me Bedwetting Alarm for Children

The Dry-Me bedwetting alarm is a body-worn enuresis alarm designed to help children learn to stay dry at night. The small moisture-sensitive sensor clips onto close-fitting underwear and detects the first drops of urine, triggering the alarm immediately.

When wetness is detected, the Dry-Me alarm sounds and/or vibrates to wake your child quickly. With regular use, this helps children recognise when they need to wee, build night-time awareness and gradually achieve more dry nights.

Compact, lightweight and easy to use, the Dry-Me is a practical bedwetting alarm for children and a helpful option for families starting a structured bedwetting treatment programme at home.

Key Benefits

  • Fast moisture detection: Alerts at the first sign of wetness
  • Three alert modes: Sound and vibration, sound only, or vibration only
  • Supports dry-night learning: Helps children respond to their body’s signals
  • Child-friendly design: Compact, discreet and simple to clip onto underwear
  • Trusted support: Recommended by healthcare professionals and ERIC

Features

  • 8 random sounds to help reduce sound habituation
  • Sound and vibration, sound only, or vibration only settings
  • High-volume alarm designed to wake deep sleepers
  • Continuous strong vibration pulse
  • Light indicator activates when moisture is detected
  • Sensor clips easily to close-fitting underwear
  • Designed to support bedwetting alarm training at home

Most children respond best to sound and vibration together, so the alarm is preset to this mode when you receive it.

What’s Included

  • 1 x Dry-Me alarm unit
  • 1 x Moisture-sensitive sensor
  • 1 x Progress chart
  • 2 x AAA batteries
  • Instructions for use

How to Use

The sensor should be clipped to your child’s underwear in the area where moisture is most likely to be detected first. The sensor can be wiped clean with a damp cloth after use.

Please note: Sensors are replaceable parts and will wear over time. They are not covered by the guarantee and usually need replacing after around 12 weeks due to corrosion.

An amazing product!

For anybody sitting on the fence about these alarms, and wondering whether they are worth the money, I would urge you to give it a try!
Our nearly 9 year old son, was consistently wet at night, and relying on pull ups. We had trialed taking the Desmopressin tablets, to no avail, and with school camps coming up, and an increasingly self conscious child, we decided to try the alarm.
The first couple of nights were tough! The alarm didn’t wake our son up, so we had to move him out of the bed to change bedding and pjjamas twice in the night and this obviously caused upset. However, a week in, we noticed our son waking up from the vibration and noise and coming into our bedroom to be changed ( the leaflet mentions that this a sign that the alarm is working!)

A couple of days after, bed wetting reduced to once a night, and then just a dribble. Just over 2 weeks in, our son came into our bedroom in the morning, declaring “ I didn’t wet the bed last night!”
The smile on his face was a picture and we as parents, were so delighted for him!
I never would have imagined that this alarm would have had such a positive impact and so quickly. Would highly recommend to others!

Worked for us.

Achieved dry nights in 2 weeks and then used in for another 2 weeks as advised, seems a little shock to the system did the trick! Not fun for everyone involved but the job was done speedily. I was surprised as I believe it can take months.

Hady worked really well

This worked really well for our 5 year old. We had 4 nights of regular wakes ups and some tears at the shock of the alarm. But he was keen to persevere and after a week he's been dry every night, at first waking once a night to go to the toilet and after a few more days can hold through the night. At first my son was unsure of the sensation of the wire. So if you have a child who is very sensitive it might be best to try a wireless version.

Bed wetting alarm

We are 6 weeks in. It's definitely helping. My child is 7 and motivated. It's helped us work out how often he is going at night and reduced his wetting. He has constipation which makes things more complicated. Only critical point is that sometimes the sensor falls off and we have to reattach.

Works well for night time training

Our 6 year old wasn’t naturally learning to stay dry through the night. Having read online advice from ERIC and the review we decided to try the alarm and he is now able to stay dry through the night and will awake if he needs the toilet.

We are still using the alarm at the moment but we will be able to stop I the next few days if he continues to be able to self-manage.

The device itself is a simple moisture detector which triggers the alarm once the child starts to urinate. It can be quite jarring to wake up during the night with the alarm but well worth it to see the progress!
