Malem MO3(8) Bedwetting Alarm for Children

The Malem MO3(8) bedwetting alarm is a lightweight body-worn enuresis alarm designed to help children learn to wake when they need to wee during the night.

The small alarm unit clips onto nightwear close to the shoulder, while the moisture-sensitive sensor attaches to close-fitting underwear. When the first drops of urine are detected, the alarm activates immediately to wake your child so they can go to the toilet.

With regular use, bedwetting alarms help children recognise bladder signals during sleep, supporting the gradual development of dry nights and improved night-time bladder control.

Sensor Options

This alarm can be purchased with either a flat plate sensor or an easy-clip sensor.

Flat Plate Sensor
The flat plate sensor can be placed inside an absorbent disposable pad worn inside underwear, or positioned between two pairs of close-fitting underwear.

Easy-Clip Sensor
The easy-clip sensor attaches directly to underwear and is particularly suitable for children who move frequently during sleep.

Awful Product

Broke with a few nights. Got a replacement, it broke too. My child now refuses to wear an alarm and is very upset about the whole thing. This has set us backwards. Cannot recommend at all.

Did the alarm break or the sensor? the sensors need to be handled with care not to pull it of the garment but to unclip. Good value product

The Malem MO3 is simple to use and effective. It is very sensitive and it will ring the alarm as soon as it gets slightly wet. The clip makes it very easy to apply the sensor

Pleased with the results

We are very pleased with the result as the product has worked and our son is dry. It didn't work as quickly for us as some others have said but we stuck with it and that was the best thing to do. We found that the alarm and flashing light did not wake our son up (he is a very deep sleeper!) but it woke us up from our room and we would go in. He was happy to try it and has been willing to wear it ever since. We are nearly at the six week mark and it has been great to capture the progress he has made on the chart which we stuck on his bed. All in all, a good product and seems to have done the trick!

Excellent product

Can’t believe we didn’t try this sooner! If your child is struggling with bed wetting and is motivated to use an alarm this really is excellent! Only took a couple of nights for her to get the hang of it. Continued to use it for few weeks just to reinforce the brain/bladder learning but it’s been a revelation!

We’ve had great results

I not one for writing reviews but as a parent who had been putting this off (after being recommended it by the dc) we’ve had great results. My 9 year old daughter would regularly be so wet in the night that she would split the sleep nappy she wore, I had little hope we could reverse this volume as it seemed out of her control. She was petty scared of the thought of the alarm going off but I tried to reassure her and moved into her bedroom for a week and we had pretty good success straight away and we stopped using after a week as she would see herself up and ask to help going to the loo. A few months later things aren’t prefect with the odd accident but it’s been life changing results for us.
